Welcome to O.G. Mastering! My name is Owen Gillett. I am a pro mastering engineer working from my space here in Napperby, South Australia. If your single or album is mixed and you are ready for mastering, you've come to the right place!
I work with independent artists, mixers, labels and signed artists to make their final product as good and as musical as it can be.
with a special interest in the heavy genres , I have worked with such artists as Lumen Ad Mortem, Sickness, Abandon All Hope, Suffer the Evenue, and a long list of others you can check out on the credits page.

The studio
Situated in the foothills of the Flinders Ranges in South Australia, the mastering room was custom co-designed and acoustically treated by acoustician Chris Morton.
The signal path consists of Barefoot MM27 monitors fed Lynx Hilo and Benchmark DA converters. I master both with an evolving choice of analog processors as well as TC electronic hardware and software (and the other usual mastering plug-ins)
Mastering is important
As technology evolves, something which has stayed constant is that for the best results, having a separate professional mastering engineer yields the best results. Music is a human and collaborative process and goes to the next level when the individuals in the production team are at their best and the relationships between the members are at their best.
